Where will the massage take place?
Treatments take place at my home in Kirton. I have a fully equipped beauty room with a spa couch. The room is private, warm, quiet and comfortable. During working hours it will only be yourself and the therapist.

What do I wear during the massage?
Once you have entered the beauty room, the therapist will ask you to remove all your clothing (if you are going fully nude) if you have chosen to have some coverage, the therapist will ask you again to remove all your clothing but you will be given a towel to put over your groin area, ready for the massage to begin.

What does the therapist wear?
The therapist will wear suitable, loose black trousers and a black tank top. This allows the therapist to be covered but flexible enough to be able to carry out the massage.
The therapist will not allow any suggestions of going topless or nude for the massage.

How do I position myself on the couch?
For the 1 hour or 2 hour session, the therapist will ask you to first lay face down (head rest provided), for the 90 minute session, the therapist will ask you to lay on your back (pillow provided)
The therapist will ask you to lay with your arms by your side and your legs slightly apart, this is so the therapist can evenly apply the oil. Once the oil has been applied, you can lay your arms where it feels most comfortable for you. The therapist will let you know if she would like to move or position you differently. During the massage, it is helpful for the therapist if you allow your body to relax and to keep fairly still. A tense client or fidgeting can make it difficult for the therapist to properly perform the massage.

Am I allowed to touch the therapist?
Lomi Lomi is a close, nurturing, loving massage and can come across quite sensual. However the client is not allowed to touch the therapist. This is considered sexual and can be distracting for the therapist. The therapist may hold your hand at times as this keeps the connection there during the massage but this is not an invitation for the client to touch the therapist.
What happens if I get an a erection?
The client may get an erection during the massage and this is a perfectly normal reaction to touch. The client may find that the erection will go as the massage goes on. The client must understand that the erection should not be acted on and the therapist will not act on it either and the massage will go on as normal. The client has no need to be embarrassed and the therapist will not be offended.
What happens if I ejaculate?
This can often happen during the massage especially if you are sensitive to touch. If this occurs, the therapist will temporily stop the massage and will give you some wipes, the therapist will leave the room for about 5 minutes to allow you to wipe and clean and to allow you to relax back onto the couch. The therapist will come back into the room and carry on with the massage as normal. The therapist will provide you with a bin so you can dispose of the wipes yourself.
Are there shower faciIities?
There are no shower facilities at the moment, however there is a bathroom you can use to wash your hands and use the toilet. After your treatment you are provided with a towel in which you are able to use to wipe the oil off. The oil I use is grapeseed and is easy to wipe off and does not leave a oily, sticky feel.
